About PAMMtrak

PAMMtrak is a community of medicines management professionals that has been developed to take part in market research. Syndicated, omnibus, and bespoke surveys of over 100 medicines management professionals are regularly conducted.

The surveys are usually quantitative and conducted online. The sample is sourced from the Medendium database of primary care health professionals in the UK and can be prioritised according to the level of their PCO medicines management responsibility.

The PAMMtrak syndicated survey tracks developments around the medicines management initiatives currently undertaken at PCOs. The content of these surveys is based on feedback we receive from medicines management health professionals, input from subscribing pharmaceutical companies, as well as outcomes of previous studies.

The 2011 survey will focus on Diabetes and Heart Diseases. The questionnaire is currently being developed. Click here if you would like to request a copy of the draft questionnaire, or include a bespoke question, or if you have any other suggestions for the questionnaire.

The 2010 surveys covered the following areas:

  • PCO clinical priorities, immediate service development needs, and change in budget allocations
  • Influence of national and local guidance, and compliance levels with formularies and local prescribing guidelines
  • Factors influencing product choice on formularies and local clinical guidance
  • Medicines management and industry supported/joint working initiatives
  • Value from industry supported/joint working initiatives with specific pharma companies

PAMMtrak data helps to profile, segment, and target PCOs according to their clinical priorities, needs around service development and medicines management activities, and willingness to engage with support/joint working initiatives.

The PAMMtrak summary report provides an overview based on the aggregated responses. PAMMtrak syndicated data allows you to view responses from individual PCOs.

PAMMtrak data can be purchased by clinical area and PCO: there is a £500 data management fee, then £250 per clinical area, and £50 per PCO
